Gerri K's Diary Entries

Diary Navigation:

January 8, 2001

Here I am! From my TTC diary onto my PG diary. I am so thrilled to be writing this diary!

This week marks my 12-week. My weeks change every Monday so they are pretty easy to keep track of. Up until now I have been feeling very icky! I started to get some morning sickness in my sixth week and it finally has started to let up in my 11-week. Thank goodness it has finally started to let up! I don't know how much longer I could take it! I really feel for those of you who have had it longer than the "norm." I have heard that some women have it for the entire PG!! I don't know how they cope! I had it all day and night as well and I only had vomiting one day out of the entire time. Of course, I felt like vomiting all the time but never did except for the one day.

I have my second OB appointment this week on the 11th. I am very excited because we haven't heard the heartbeat yet. My first appointment was during my sixth week and the doctor has been booked until now. So needless to say, DH and I can't wait! Until I hear that wonderful sound of the beating heart I can't really be sure that the baby is progressing like it should. With my past experiences it is hard not to worry. Of course, making it to my 12-week without any problems does help ease a lot of worries. Pregnancy is a stressful time, though. Everyone just wants the baby to be healthy and problem free.

Other than that I really don't have much for my first entry. I am looking forward to a happy and healthy nine months, well, six months now! Until next time .

Best Regards,

Gerri K
