Week 16 and feeling great!!

We had a nice safe trip over the weekend to California. DH parents were THRILLED to see Taylor again. They watched her all day for us on Saturday while we went out and played with DH brother and his wife. It was great. Taylor was an angel for her grandparents. They were sad to see us go as we were sad to leave. Such a short visit is hard but well worth the memories it gave them.

The weather there was amazing. It was in the 90's the entire time we were there! Coming from Denver it sure was nice to get a taste of summer again! I think the weather was special ordered just for our visit! Now I am itching for spring to arrive here!

The baby is doing well. Moving all over the place! I have my next Dr. appointment scheduled for 2/12/01. No big deal as this one is just to check my BP, babies heartbeat and general "how ya doing." My next appointment after that is going to be 3/9/01 for our ultrasound. I feel like something is missing this time though! Isn't this around the time we should be getting some tests done? I remember with Taylor it seemed like I was getting my blood drawn around this time for the triple screen testing. Maybe that is what they will also do at this next visit. I will have to remember to ask when I go.

Other than that, not much new is happening with us! I am officially in maternity clothes now. I can still get away with some non maternity tops but barely - they are pretty snug around the belly and make me look fat rather than PG - I would rather wear the maternity clothes that are still a little big than look like a cow!! Oh the woes of being at this stage of PG!! If this is the only thing I have to worry about with this PG then I am a happy camper!!

Until next time.......
