Week 28
It has been a while since my last update but I really haven't had too much going on to update on!! This pregnancy has been very easy and very non eventful - knock on wood!
I just had my follow up visit with the specialist 4/30/01 to check on Ryan and the fluid on his kidneys - good news!!! The fluid collection has stopped and what fluid was there is now gone! DH and I are so happy that he is doing better and there is no more to worry about in this matter! It was nice to see him again too!! He is so big and we got a nice shot of his "boy parts" and are POSITIVE he is a he!! I have been hearing horror stories from people that they thought they were having a boy and it was a girl so I got worried. He now weighs 2.5 lbs and is right on target with development. We also scheduled my c-section with my regular OB for 7/19/01. Things are rolling along and we are getting closer!! Only 12 more weeks to go!
Ryan is a fan of moving and kicking me a lot too!! It seems that he is always moving around and poking me in places that don't feel so great!! I love the feeling of him moving and enjoy it even though it hurts sometimes.
In other news...........I just had a nice trip to the St Louis area to meet some people that I had meet on the boards when I was PG with DD. It was really neat to finally meet them and the kids! We had a great weekend and plan on doing it again next year.
Next month DD starts full time day care and I will start working a fullt time schedule until 7/13/01. That will be my last day of work for a while. I am looking forward to DD starting day care as I think she is very ready for it and won't be as bored hanging out with mommy all the time.
