Week 32
It has been a while since I updated last! Not too much has been happening although there has been a few worthwhile moments to share.
I started having contractions last week, every 10 minutes. I didn't worry too much about them however I ended up at the Dr office the following day as they didn't let up but they were further apart. The Dr put me on terbutaline every 6 hrs as needed. I went into pre-term labor with my daughter at 33.5 weeks so they are being cautious. So far, I am still having the contractions but they are under control with the meds. They want me to make it to 35wks at least. The good news is that they didn't take me out of work or put me on any type of rest. The medicine is terrible!! It makes you very jittery and your heart beats very fast! I feel like crawling out of my skin when I have taken it but it is worth it in the long run.
I believe I have the end of the pregnancy blahs. I don't feel good at all. My mid section hurts constantly, I can't breathe and I feel like a whale!! I have only gained a total of 15 lbs so far but it feels like 150! One part of me is SO glad the end is in site but another part of me is sad that I won't have my baby inside me any longer. Even though I feel like crapola most of the time these days, the feeling of my baby kicking is the most amazing feeling in the world, I know I will miss that terribly.
I have the rest of my Dr appts set up. I saw my Dr again today and now I am on every 2wks until the baby comes. That is only 3 more appts!! This pregnancy seems to have just flown by so quickly.
Taylor has her 2nd birthday next Friday 6/8. I can't believe she is already turning 2 yrs old! We are having a small party for her with a few of her friends and ours.
On Monday, 6/4/01, Taylor starts her first day at daycare. Actually, I don't know if you would call it "daycare" because to me it seems more like a school than daycare. They have a Curriculum they follow for each age group and I think she is going to just love it! We are very excited for her. We still aren't sure how we are going to afford it but I am sure it will all work out just fine. She is ready for this type of interaction.
Well, that should do it for now.
