Happy 4th of July!! This year since this day falls in the middle of the week we don't have anything planned - not a darn thing! I guess it is better that way as the entire family has the crud! It started with me and now DH and DD are both sick with it too. So we are just a miserable group anyway!
The baby is doing well. Moving like a champ most of the time and of course when he doesn't, I call the Dr. in a panic! I guess that is my right at this point since they wouldn't know how this baby is doing other than by my accounts.
I went to the OB yesterday because of lack of movement - of course, as soon as they hooked me up to the monitor he started doing somersaults! That was good to feel. I also got to peek at him as the Dr. decided to do a bio physical profile, which was wonderful! I could see the baby clear as day, features and all - he is so darn cute! Now I REALLY can't wait to see him in person and snuggle with him! As each day passes I secretly wish he would just come now, but then I know there are only a few more days to go and he will arrive when he is ready - or when we have it scheduled - one of the two!!
He is still breach and I don't think he is going to turn. It really doesn't matter anyway because I have a c-section planned for July 19th. My DD was also breach and that is why she came via c-section - they tried to turn her but that was unsuccessful and hurt VERY bad! I don't recommend that procedure for anyone!
In other news, we have decided to take DD out of her new day care and let her stay home with me and the new baby for a while. It is her 5th week and she has shown no improvement from the first week. It has been very hard on us all and the decision wasn't an easy one at first but now that we made the decision it is very clear that it was the right one. She has just been miserable, crying all day, not napping and not eating while she is there. They don't know what to do with her at this point and neither do we! They say they think her class size of 18 is just too big for her liking. I might have to agree with them on that one. The teacher says that when they take her out of the class she is fine but as soon as she gets back in the class she gets very upset. So, either she just isn't ready or needs a smaller setting to start out in. So, we are going to keep her home for a few more months with me and then see what we can do, maybe a small playgroup or something.
Well, that is about it, here I sit patiently awaiting our new arrival - well, kind of patient anyway!
Good luck to everyone!!
Best regards
