4wks old!!!

Wow how time flys!! I just can't believe that it has already been 4wks since I gave birth to Ryan. It all seems a blur still but reality is slowly sinking in.

My mom just left us after spending a month here helping us get adjusted. It was just wonderful having her here to help out with Taylor. She got up with her everyday so I could sleep or pump or whatever I had to do. She cooked and cleaned and really made my life very easy! Now I have to resume all that stuff myself and I am partly scared but I know I can do it!! You do what you have to do.

Ryan is growing like a weed! I had to take him to the Dr on Tuesday 7/31 because he had a terrible diaper rash that I just couldn't get under control - turns out it was a yeast infection so good thing I took him in. We got some prescription diaper ointment that wiped it out within 3 days. He got weighed at the Dr and is already 9lbs!! He is gaining on average, 1oz per day, which I guess is exactly what they like to see. He doesn't miss any meals either so I am not too suprised!

Well, this is going to be my last entry in the PG diary section. I am going to move onto the babiestoday.com diaries. Please follow me and Ryan's developement!! It has been a wonderful time here and I hope to see many of you over there as well. It is kind of sad to say goodbye as I have enjoyed my pregnancy experience and the reality of it all is that this was the last time I will be pregnant - at least the last planned pregnancy!! Dh is planning on having a vasectomy very soon.

Hope to "see" you over there!!!

Best regards,

Gerri K and Ryan
