Gerri K's Diary Entries

Diary Navigation:

October 15, 2001

Ryan, you are 3 1/2 months ALREADY!! How did you get to be such a big boy so fast? Mommy forgot how fast babies grow up.....but I am loving every second of it and I sure wish you could stay this little for a longer period of time but I know it isn't possible. We snuggle all the time and I cherish these moments. I know it will be all too soon when the time comes that you don't want a hug from me, a gentle kiss on the check or to just sit on my lap. You will be much too busy learning about life.

Ryan, mommy and daddy are so happy that you are in our family. We couldn't ask for more and we are very blessed that God gave you to us. Throughout your life we will be here for you no matter what it is you need. We will never let you down and we will always try to be as fair as possible to you. You have a wonderful older sister that loves you very much too......she will cause you grief, you can count on that, but in the end, she will always love you just as much, if not more than she does now.

You have such a beautiful smile and happy disposition. When we look at you, you remind us what living is all about. You bring a smile to everyone who sees you and brighten the dullest of days. We thank God each and every day for letting us be your parents. We will do our best to be the best parents possible for you. There will be times that you think we are terrible parents, but that is all part of growing up and learning. Just know, deep in your heart, that we love you and will do anything to protect you, our son. You can count on that!

We love you!!!
