We sure have been busy around here!!
Ryan has been sick, DD has been sick, I have been sick and so has DH. The only healthy member of our family is buddy, the dog and even he is having an allergy break out!
The good news, we are all on our way to getting better. I have had bronchitis and Ryan and DD have just had the run of the mill cold. Not sure what DH has been down with but he is also much better now.
Ryan had a visit to the Children's hospital at one point. He was throwing up and actually lost almost a pound in one week. So they decided he needed a bit of rehydration via IV fluids. Once he had that he started to do much better and hasn't had a problem with throwing up since. That was quite a scary event but it all worked out for the best.
Ryan has had a problem with reflux since the beginning. I am not sure what else to do at this point. He has been on Cimetidine syrup since 2mo and it helped at first but now it doesn't seem to be doing much for him. He is always very gassy and constantly spitting up a lot of his formula. We have him on Lacto Free formula and I wonder if he shouldn't be on Soy. I had him on Soy but the Dr said to give him the Lacto Free. I just don't know anymore. DD never had this problem. Well, his next well care appt is on 11/21 so maybe they can help us out then. Until then I guess it is lots of burp towels and clothing changes.
