Hi Everyone!

This week I will be 10 weeks. Is this the eternal pregnancy?!!? I suppose I'm not very busy, because time seems to have slown down to a crawl. 30+ weeks to go... yikes!

At about week 7 or 8, I started to have much more nausea than usual. It was just an off feeling before, but then it kind of hit me. It was so lovely! Thank goodness, though, I am starting to feel much better again, and much more human! I forgot that in my last three pregnancies, the 10-week mark was always a turning point for me. How could I have forgotten that!?! I have also started to have real cravings, as well. Chinese food has been one of them, so thank goodness we found a really good place not far from where we live! I think we'll be helping business right along over the next seven months!

I have been kind of lax with my good eating resolve, but I'm determined to get back on track. I've still been exercising, though, usually half an hour, five times a week. It's important for me to keep that up, no matter what. With my last pregnancy, my pelvis separated, and caused a large bone at the base of my spine (the sacrum), to pop out of place and rest on a nerve. The pain was horrible, I wasn't able to sleep in my bed (a recliner was my home), and I was taking Tylenol 3 for the last four months of my pregnancy. I went to physical therapy, and my therapist was able to get the bone back in place, but my pelvis was still quite painful. It was a terrible experience, and one I'm not in a hurry to repeat! So I'm trying to make sure that I keep my body as strong as I can. Nothing can be guaranteed, though, so I'm praying a lot these days that this will be a smooth ride! LOL!

I've also started to pop. It seems so early, but I have to remember that this IS number four. I was in maternity clothes at 2 1/2 months last time, but I'm not quite ready for those yet, either. My jeans are getting tighter, though! Oh, I dread the day when I have to surrender them, because I know how long it takes to wear pants that zip up again!!! Oh well! It's so worth it!

I am still doing the waiting game as far as insurance goes. We are waiting to see if my husband gets a direct hire at the company he is consulting for, and that will take us through the end of the year, as his contract was just extended. So I'll be into month four before I see a doctor. It does make me a little nervous, but I'm not too worried. After all, I've done this three times before and know the routine by heart. I feel fine, and have peace about it. So I'm just relaxing and not stressing... about that part, anyway!

One thing that has been on my mind lately is finding a house before this baby is born. We are currently living in a three-bedroom apartment, and while things are just a little cramped, adding a baby to the mix will make things crazy! As soon as we find out about the job situation, we are going to start looking, so I'll be keeping you updated!

Well, I suppose I'd better wrap this up. My daughter has the day off from school because of parent/teacher conferences, and the three of them have been fighting since they got up! What a day!

Have a wonderful week, everyone! Hugs!

Heather
