We had our “Family Weekend” this week. Instead of driving two ours to visit family we stayed home and asked that no one visit us. It was wonderful. We slept in on Saturday and then went out to breakfast. After shopping all day for new furniture we decided on a set that will hopefully cover dirt better than our white floral couch. Saturday night we hired a babysitter the first ever for Abbey. Mike and I went out to celebrate our 6 anniversary of the day we started dating. We went to a small club to see a band. It was so much fun.The band was great and everyone was so nice to me and never made me wait in line for the bathroom. Emmy apparently loved the band. She didn’t stop moving through the whole show.
Sunday was more shopping and then collapsing on the couch to watch season 2 of the
Sopranos which we had just rented. I got hooked watching them a few weeks ago and can’t believe I didn’t watch them ages ago. Everything is still going great pregnancy wise. I feel like I am getting sick though. I have a horrible cough and my throat is hurting. I hope I get over this soon. I hate being sick.
