March 22, 2004
I have had such a busy week I don’t really know where to start. Thursday I was driving
my dad to Rupp Arena and was rear ended by a Toyota Sienna. I drive a Ford Focus. Surprisingly to me it tore the front end of his van up and I got just a small gouge in my
bumper. It is a brand new car so I was not happy. After spending about 3 hours in triage
getting checked out I was allowed to go home. Emmy was doing fine and my uterus was
irritated but I was not in labor.
The next day I had a regular Dr. appointment. Yippee I gained another pound and a half. I found out that my Dr. will be off work until April 5. I hope I do not go into labor while he is off. I really want him to deliver Emmy since he delivered Abbey.
I know I shouldn’t have done it since I am this close to delivering but we hadn’t seen the grandparents in almost 2 months so we went to visit them. The trip is two hours away but it was nice. I miss all the trees and hills. I was given three HUGE bags of baby clothes some with the tags still on them by my aunt Becky. The first day of Spring was so pretty here. Abbey got to play outside on the swingset at her Granny’s house. She was happy about that it has been cold for too long. I am ready for some warm weather.
