12 weeks and 5 days
So far so good!! Morning sickness is pretty much gone. I've posted my ultrasound picture with this entry. I can't get over the size difference from 8 weeks to 12 weeks. My DR said everything looked great. The baby was moving all over the place that day and would hardly stay still long enough for her to measure the heart rate. It went up from 150 to 169. I still measured on schedule! All was good signs and she said I was now out of the danger zone of another m/c. We were so glad to hear that!!! I've gained 5 lbs. and am showing slightly. Most people can tell if my clothes hang right. No need for maternity cloths just yet!! I have bought some elastic waist shorts and overall shorts for the summer. That should last me another month or so. The only thing left to buy now is a bigger bra. :-) I'm already a 34C so DH is enjoying this very much!!
We've been pretty busy this month. The first three weeks of this month I was pretty busy with dog haircuts. I got so wore out my mom had to come and help. I don't think I'll schedule that many again. Over Father's Day weekend we went to central Oregon for a golf tournament. DH golfed and I went to town and shopped. There were outlet stores I had to check out. Especially Carter's. I didn't buy anything though. I know--NUTS!! I think I'll wait to see if the DR can tell us the sex at my 20 week u/s before I go and buy anything else. It's still fun to look though!!
It's the start of hay season for us. Dh just finished bailing 1 field today. The forcast said rain Sun. so we'll have to get it all in the barn before then. Dh will start another field with the next wave of hot weather. Hopefull next week. We like to get the hay done by the forth of July.
Now we're just waiting for my next appt. I'll need to do all my blood work then. Since they screen for spina bifida (sp?) at 16 weeks, they said I could wait until then to have all the blood done at once. Then I'm not such a pin cushion!!
Hope everyone is doing well!!
