35 weeks 4 days
Almost an exact month until my due date. We are so excited for him to get here. I was suppose to go to the Dr. tomorrow but I had some concerns Tues. morning and called my Dr. She had me come in that day instead.
I felt like I had been leaking for a few days. Not a bunch but off and on. Then Tues. morning I went to take a shower and had red tinged slick stuff in my underwear. I thought it was to early for anything like that so I put a call in to my Dr. just to make sure what she thought.
She had me come in to check my fluid level and all was fine. My water hadn't broke or anything. She said sometimes the bag of water can sweat and drip moisture like a cold drink does when it sits awhile on a counter. She then did an exam since I was to have one Thurs. anyway. The redish mucus I saw was part of my plug. She said I've started to lose that and I have started to dialate. I'm at a good 1cm. Even though this seems early she said that is no sign of an early delivery. Alot of people dialate early and still go to their EDD. I go in weekly now so we will see how I progress.
My birthday was Mon. DH had to work so I went to my parents house for dinner and cheese cake. Then Tues. night after my Dr. appt. DH & I went to dinner with his family. It was all fun. I got a nice soft robe to take to the hospital and a nursing nightgown with a matching robe. Plus some other very nice gifts.
That's all for this update. I'll post aftr my next appt.
