Hello ladies and gents. Today is my first appointment and I am scared silly.
I REALLY hope everything is all right with my baby. I am so nervous about
the test results that I want to call for them NOW. But I guess I will wait
for 2:15 to roll around. =) or actually 2:30 or 3:00 depending on if the
midwife is running behind. See at my doctor's, for your first appointment,
you see a nurse midwife, then at subsequent appointments, you see the
doctors (I think). I never made it past my first appointment with the last
baby. I am PRAYING like crazy that things are okay. I get an ultrasound
today, I think, because of the inability to see the baby last Monday. I
mean he/she is only 1/2 inch long. and you can imagine that she/he was
probably only like 1/4 of an inch or shorter then. I am anxious, worried,
nervous, scared, happy (that my appointment is finally here), overwhelmed,
nervous some more and just plain disenchanted if you could call it that. I
will update when I get back today. More later.
