Hello LADIES!!!!

GREAT to be pregnant isn't it?!?!? Well, I had my "appointment" today (which wasn't my appointment, LONG mix up so I get to go back on Thursday...he he he, but ANYWAY). I went over to the radiologists today to get my "follow up" ultrasound and there was my teeny tiny little precious baby's heart beating away at 115 beats per minute which the U/S tech told me is good. I am seven weeks pregnant and due November 8th 1999. =)

I got a U/S pic and I tried to scan it but it won't work because of the fact that they put it on X-ray film. SO bummer to that. I really wanted to scan it and show it off to you guys. When I was in on the table and the tech was scanning my belly with the doppler, I saw a SMIDGEN of something and then I was like "What was that??" I was so nervous that pretty much anything that I saw was gonna catch my attention. So she moved it back and sure enough there was the little munchkin's heart beating away. I said " Is that the baby?? Is there a baby in there?" And she froze it and pointed to my precious angel from heaven and said, " Yep, there she is..."

Ladies, I don't have to tell you that I burst into tears at that point. I had been so nervous about seeing if there was a baby in there for real or another blighted ovum. While I was at my doctor's office drinking my water (I had to drink 32 ounces of water in about 15 minutes for the ultrasound, I was an "emergency ultrasound" I guess you could say...) I was sitting there talking with the woman who I had spoken with before the day before my D&C (in August) and she was saying to me (while I was STILL drinking the water) "Jenea, I have a REAL good feeling about this one. I really do...Don't know what it is but I do..." and after I was done at Radiology I went back to my doc's office and was waiting in the waiting area. I saw Joyce walk down the hall and I got her attention and held up my U/S pic and said, " Joyce!!! BABY!!!" and she came running out and gave me this GREAT big hug!!! Even the midwife hugged me because she had been the one to find my blighted ovum before and she was happy for me. =) So, ladies, I AM OFFICIALLY pregnant!!!! =) I am so happy!!!
