Jenn's Diary Entries

Diary Navigation:

June 20, 2000

Hi everyone! Well, as you all know from my introduction I am expecting in February of 2001. I am six weeks along today. I am nervous, scared and all of the above.

I went to see my doc yesterday for the first time and I had an exam and all of that good stuff. She told me what to eat more of and to drink lots more water and all of that stuff. So I'm trying to drink all my water today. She went through all of our family medical history and all of that with us and she gave me a pregnancy book and other info. So now I have all sorts of things running thru my mind. So many things to do and decide before nine months are up. MAN!

I go in July 17 to have my first ultrasound done and I think that will be neat to see and hear the heartbeat. Everyone in both families are excited. Dh and family cried and my Mom jumped up and down. My MIL is always making things, sewing and quilting and all that. So she is already making things for the baby. I think that is neat.

Are any of you not gonna find out the sex before birth? I was just wondering. Dh and I decided a long time ago not to find out. I know it's gonna be hard to not wanna find out but we decided this a long time ago. So are any of the rest of you gonna wait like us? If so let me know on my "talk to me" board.

I am hoping I don't get very sick during this either. No morning sickness yet but you never know when it will come so I'm praying I don't get it.

Well, that's enough for now. Until next time!!!!

Jenn B.
