*almost 28 weeks*
Feeling much better now. the sinus infection seemed to last forever but I think it is mostly cleared up. I gave my illnesses to Eric, who never gets sick, and made him pretty miserable for about a week but we are both doing much better now.
We are almost 28 weeks and things are going great. Carson is growing tons and is so active it is unbelievable. I was resting in bed the other day and put the remote control on my tummy and my little guy proceeded to kick it off onto the floor...it was hilarious!!:) I woke up in the middle of the night the other night and found Eric playing with my tummy, it was so adorable.
My tummy seems to have really popped out almost overnight and I think I actually am starting to look pregnant and not just overweight...it is exciting. I just hope that at least once during the pregnancy someone asks me when I am due, showing me that I really do look pregnant.
I started fooling around with different ways to make my own baby announcements and think I have decided on what I want to do. I am going to print all of his info on vellum with blue ink and put his picture on blue cardstock beneath and tie the two together with a cute little bow that says "it's a boy". I am having fun playing around with different types of announcements and can't wait to actually put his real info and picture on the cards!!
The nursery mural has started. My friend came over the other day and drew all of the characters on the walls...now we just need to paint. She is going to let me help (I am not very artistic) with the bigger areas of color so that I don't screw something up. I am getting so excited about how the nursery will turn out!
We had an appointment today and all went very well. I lost a pound, bringing my total to a 7 pound gain so far. My BP was good and I am measuring great. I had to drink that lovely glucola stuff and about threw up...just have to wait and see if I passed the blood tests. I also had to get my Rhogam shot since I am Rh negative.
Our next appointment is February 17, I still can't believe we are already up to every 2 week appointments!!!
Well that's enough for now, have a great week and stay warm!
