*How am I feeling?

Well, Heartburn has arrived full force. I have never had heartburn before and wasn't really sure that was what I was experiencing, but Eric assured me that it was the real thing. I have been having some trouble sleeping at night because of the heartburn, and even drinking water seems to make it worse. I found myself sleeping in the recliner the other night because of the burning in my chest...not a fun experience. I have been living on TUMS and they don't really seem to help most of the time...talked to my doctor today about it and he gave me a prescription for Reglan to try...hope it helps!

Also, last week my morning sickness came back for a few wonderful days. for 4 days in a row I threw up in a bucket before getting out of bed. I called my doctor because I was sure I was sick with some bug or something, but he said that in some lucky pregnancies morning sickness can come back in the third trimester! Lucky me!! Am feeling much better now and only feel sick about every other morning.

I am still very tired but have had some energy bursts the last couple of days and actually felt really good!:) I took a few walks with the dog and even went to the gym once...I know it isn't much, but I am very proud of myself!

*Preparing for Baby

Eric and I went shopping over the weekend and bought some really cute clothes, all on sale!! Got some good deals on a few cute outfits at Old Navy and Baby Gap. I love buying these little outfits, but my Lord, some of them are more expensive than any clothes I have ever bought for myself!

We also bought the lamp and mobile to go with out Winnie the Pooh bed set. I have been wanting them for awhile and finally went out to buy them. I keep finding myself going into the nursery and playing with the mobile...I like hearing the music and thinking about playing it for Carson in 2 months or so.

We started to wash some of the baby clothes the other day and have started to organize the closet. I really hate washing clothes and putting them away, but this was different and I actually was so excited to touch the little outfits and decide where I wanted to put them!

*The Nursery

Well the nursery is almost done, only some ceiling touch ups and some cleaning left to do. If anyone wants to see a few pictures...here is a website

*Appt. update

Had an appointment and ultrasound today. Everything is looking really good. My MD was worried at the last appt because I was measuring big all of a sudden, well today I was measuring only slightly bigger than dates. The ultrasound showed that my fluid level is normal and they estimated the baby to weight 3 pounds 15 ounces (I was told this is normal for a baby at this stage)! I am relieved to know that everything is okay!

We weren't able to get any pictures of Carson at the ultrasound because the little stinker was sitting backwards on his knees the whole time. No matter what we did to try to get him to move, he wouldn't budge! He is stubborn, just like his parents:)

My appt went well. I gained 2 pounds, making it a 10 pound gain so far. My BP was really good and the baby's heartbeat was easy to find this time and sounded great!

*Childbirth education

Classes start this Thursday. I am excited but nervous to think that Carson will really be here in just about 2 months. The time is really flying but I am getting impatient and want to hold my little man right now!

thanks for reading
Have a great week!
