*36 weeks and 3 days*
We are doing pretty well here. I am feeling fine, very tired and wear out easily though. I am still having a lot of swelling off and on but it isn't turning into a problem yet.
*Shower*
The shower that my mom and her friend threw for us was yesterday. We had a great time and a great turnout, there were probably 25 or 30 people there. We were very worried about how many people would make it because we were in the middle of a nice snow storm and ended up getting about 6 inches (were forcasted for 6-12 inches). I so hate Nebraska weather, last monday and tuesday it was 90 degrees and then we get snow and freezing rain yesterday, the weather is ever-changing and very unpredictable!
Anyway, the shower was great. We got to see a lot of people we don't get to see often and we ate tons of great food. We got tons of great gifts: mom got us our travel system and grandma got our pack and play. We got tons of great outfits (gonna have to change this guys clothes 3 times a day in order to use them all), great toys, bath stuff, crib toys, lots of blankets, and lots of homemade goodies for the baby. We had a great time. Eric really enjoyed being a part of all of the hoopla and I am really glad we made it a couples shower.
*nesting*
I think I am officially nesting. All I want to do lately is clean, put things away in the nursery, and do laundry (usually my most hated chore). This is all well and good because I am getting tons done in order to get ready for Carson, but I am getting nothing done for school! I still have 3 papers to do and a final before this guy arrives...AAGH!!!:)
*appt. update*
had another appointment today. the office was extremely busy and we had to wait forever...then the doc comes in for 5 minutes or so and is on his way. Crazy!
My bp was fine, no protein in the urine, heartbeat was great and regular at 144 bpm, I am measuring okay (still slightly big though). I am not proud to say, but I gained 4 pounds in a week!!! OMG! that brings me to a total of 19pounds.
Our next appt is next monday, April 14th.
I hope everyone has a good week! We will update again after next weeks appointment:)
Hugs
Jen and Carson (due 5/2/03)
