*Carson is 17 days old*
I just wanted to write a quick update to let everyone know that we are doing well. I thank everyone for posting such nice words of support and understanding on my TTM board. I am feeling so much better and my little guy is thriving and doing much better.
Carson loves his bottles and his formula. no problems with the regular old Enfamil with Lipil and Iron yet (crossing fingers that we can stay with this type of formula without difficulty). He loves to eat now and looks right into my eyes when I feed him, the best feeling. I can't tell you how good it feels to not have him screaming and turning red when he eats, and to not cry myself!
My emotions are starting to be much better. I cry a lot less and can spend more time feeling happy during the day. I love to hold my baby and am feeling no harsh feelings toward him or the situation. We are getting along much better.
Carson is already growing so big. He was 6pounds 3ounces at our one week appt and was 6pounds 10 ounces this past wednesday at his two week appt. He seems to be getting longer every minute and has some outfits that he is growing out of already. This is going to be one tall little boy!
Anyway, I am going to go hug and kiss on my little guy! Thanks again for all of the support and for reading along!
until next time
Jen and Carson
