* Carson is 7 1/2 weeks old*
we are doing great! Carson is such wonderful baby and so happy all of the time, it is great. Sorry I haven't written in awhile but I haven't been able to find the time. I started back to clinical (practicum for school) this past week and am going one day a week, it was hard to get back in the swing of things! I start back to work at the end of the month and am dreading it.
Carson is smiling and giggling all of the time now! it is so awesome to listen to him giggle and to see that toothless grin...adorable. He is a really happy baby and only fusses when hungry (no patience here to wait for food!) or tired (loves to be held when falling asleep)
He is growing like crazy and I think his face changes every day. The hair that he lost on the top of his head is slowly filling back in and is short and fuzzy right now.
We bought a Baby Bjorn carrier recently and this boy loves it. He loves to be cuddled and held, so this is the perfect little contraption because I can cuddle him and still get some stuff done. We have also been going for walks with Carson in the carrier or in the stroller, he loves it and really seems to enjoy the fresh air.
Our anniversary was great. We went to the Matrix and to Red Lobster. My parents watched the babe and I only called home 3 times in 5 hours. We are doing better with allowing them to watch Carson, and even let him stay the night the other night. Eric and I were painting and didn't want the babe around the paint, so he stayed with Grandma. It was so hard on me, I even woke up at his usual middle of the night feeding time and went to his room to check on him...crazy huh!!!
We are leaving tomorrow for our first family vacation. A 12 hour drive to Indiapolis. It is Eric's family reunion and we are going to stay for a week. We'll see how driving 12 hours with an 8 week old goes!...be thinking of us.
Until next time
Jenni and Carson
