Jenni's Diary EntriesDiary Navigation: |
October 14, 2002
Had our first official OB appointment today, it was so awesome! We were able to hear the heartbeat with the doppler and I almost cried. the baby is very mobile in there and the doc had to chase it around for awhile before we could really hear anything. Eric was with me at the appointment and was so excited to hear the baby's heartbeat. We had heard, and seen, the heartbeat at 6.5 weeks through Ultrasound but this was so different and made everything seem much more real.
My blood pressure is good and my body is right where it should be for 12 weeks. I had tons of lab drawn, no fun, but I lived through it. And I got to have one of the oh-so-wonderful pelvic exams...yippee!!:)
Our next appt. is in 5 weeks. I will not have another ultrasound until about 20 weeks. We'll see if I can talk Eric into finding out the gender before that 20 week appointment!! Wish me luck:)
Congrats to all of the ladies who have just had babies and to all of you who just started your diaries. Prayers and best wishes to everyone!
Love
Jen (and peewee)
