13 weeks...
I don't really have too much to say this week but I thought I would update just a little bit. My week has been pretty uneventful.
All I have been doing for quite awhile is working, going to school, and sleeping. It dawned on me that I haven't seen anyone but Eric, people at work, and people at school in about 3 weeks. I am officially a hermit. Usually I am a pretty social person but I just don't have the energy right now...I just hope all of my friends understand the neglect!:) I really look forward to hopefully getting back to the land of the living soon.
As for the pregnancy, all is going well. I am still sick on occasion, about every other night and sometimes in the morning. My stomach is starting to grow a bit. I still think it is way early for this but my friends tell me that every pregnancy is different. I am not truly showing yet but my clothes are just uncomfortable and I find myself wearing loose clothes.
I bought my first maternity clothes this week. I got some stuff from JCPenney and found some great deals on EBay. I tried on the maternity pants I got and just started to laugh...is my belly really gonna get that big? They almost fell off!:) Does anyone else know of a good place to find Plus Size Maternity clothes that don't cost an arm and a leg?
Eric and I did something truly crazy last night...we rented a baby beat doppler!:) I rented it for 2 months and should get it on Monday. It was a really good deal and they payed shipping both ways, I couldn't resist! I know it is crazy, but I am paranoid and would just love to be able to hear that wonderful little heartbeat whenever I want. I figure I will keep if until I start to feel him/her move and start to feel more secure about everything. I also thought it would be cool to let my family hear the heartbeat. Eric's family is in Indiana and might come here for Thanksgiving, so they could here it too if they want! We really are impulsive buyers, aren't we?
Anyway, I need to get some sleep so I can get up early for work. Have a great week everyone and thanks for reading!
Hugs,
Jen
