Jenni's Diary Entries

November 22, 2002

almost 17 weeks!!!

Sorry I have yet again been a slacker about writing...busy, busy, busy!:) School and work are sucking the life out of me and I am so drained all of the time. I've always been told you are supposed to be super tired when pregnant...but this is crazy.

Doctors appt. Monday 11/18:
We had a great appointment. I have gained no weight...although I feel like I've gained about 10 pounds. My BP was good and I am measuring right on schedule. Don't know if I mentioned yet but we have a new due date...May 2nd. I still think April 30th sounds much better!! My dad and Eric went to the appointment with me and my dad was so excited to be there. The heartbeat sounds wonderful, I knew that though because of my obsession with our rented doppler. Our next appointment is December 16th and so is our ultrasound. Still trying to talk that hubby of mine into finding out the sex but so far no luck.

How I am feeling:
I am actually feeling pretty good. I had a nice raging sinus infection late last week but I got some drugs and I doing much better.
I think I felt the baby move the other day. It was just a few little fluttery feelings in my lower tummy. It was so exciting but I don't know if that was really what I was feeling or not.
My nausea is almost all gone. I still have bad days if I run around too much or don't eat regularly, but for the most part I am MUCH better.
I am still pretty moody but we are getting used to my changing moods! Eric is being so tolerant of everything, he's the best.
My tummy is really getting bigger. You can't tell that I am pregnant yet because I am a bigger gal and just look like I've gained a bit of weight in my tummy. I am wearing a lot of maternity or stretchy clothes now and am excited at the changes I am already seeing!

Thanksgiving:
My inlaws are coming to visit from Indiana for Thanksgiving weekend. We are so excited. They are bringing us a crib that was my sister-in-law's for her children and a day bed for the baby's room.
My Grandma is coming out this weekend and staying through Christmas. She is a great lady and I am so glad that she will be with us for the Holidays!!

Okay, I think I have jabbered on long enough for now. I will try to update again next week! I wish everyone a Very happy Thanksgiving!!!

Next time
