*21 weeks*
We are doing well here. I have been feeling great, still tired but more human. My moods have been much more in control and I don't feel as crazy as I have been feeling. I have gone 3 whole weeks without a cold or anything and love feeling good again.
We hosted a cute little Holiday party at the house this past weekend. It was great. Everybody there had kids, except for us and one other couple, and it was amazing to think that this time next year we will be celebrating the Holidays with one extra little person.
School and work are fine. My final for my class is this Wednesday so I can finally relax for a couple of weeks. I am still working on finishing my big thesis paper but it is very close to completion...thank the Lord!
My belly is getting huge, it is obvious that I am pregnant. I have been feeling movement a lot lately and am loving it. Eric is a bit jealous that he can't feel anything yet but I reassured him that he would feel our baby soon...he is so cute when he is jealous:)
Had another OB appointment today. Went well. The results from the Quad screen were perfectly normal. My BP was great and I am measuring right on track. the one thing I was worried about was the fact that I have gained 8 POUNDS in one month. I couldn't believe it. I had gained nothing up until now and have now gained 8 pounds. I am eating good and not eating too much. I am excerising, sometimes but not as much as I should. My MD was not worried but I think it is crazy. I am a very big gal to start with (gained a ton of weight with fertility drugs after losing a lot prior to that) and I didn't want to gain very much. I am trying not to feel guilty, if the baby needs me to gain weight I will...I am just going to make sure I don't eat too much of the sweets and junk that I love so much.
We have our ultrasound on Wednesday and, believe it or not, I have officially talked Eric into finding out what we are having!!! I actually am not sure what changed his mind but he is really excited about finding out what this baby is!!!
I will update again on wednesday to let you all know how the ultrasound goes!!
Have a good day
