December 28, 2002

*23 weeks*

Feeling great now!!! I love being pregnant...wouldn't have said that a few months ago:) I have a bit more energy and I have not had a cold or anything for awhile now, the morning sickness (or all day sickness) has been gone for awhile too.

Carson moves all over the place now. He does flip-flops and kicks like Jackie Chan!!:) Eric got to feel his first kicks last weekend, he was so excited and the look on his face was adorable. Now that he has felt the baby, Eric is always touching on my tummy and hoping that he will feel it again, it is unbelievably cute.

We had a great Christmas. I had to work Christmas Day so we had our Christmas with my family on Christmas Eve...it was great. Wonderful food and a great time with family. I swear, Carson got more gifts from "Santa" than Eric and I did...and he isn't even here yet...not complaining, this is how it should be!!!

Carson got some really cute clothes and bibs, a beautiful blanket, some rattles, and a cute little toy that is a dog with a blue blanket on it. It was so strange to think that next year there will be a baby here with us!!!

Eric has spent the last few days working on the nursery. I have had to work and he is off so he did the painting for me. It is so cute. We are going to do a Winnie the Pooh theme with a mural painted by a good friend of ours. Right now, the room is baby blue but it will actually be really bright with characters all over. I am so excited!:)

Our next appointment is January 13. We also signed up for a child birth class and a breast feeding class that both start in March...so much to do in so little time I guess!!!

I hope everyone had a great Christmas and that you all have a wonderful 2003...

Until next time
Jen and Carson (due 5/2/03)
