Expert Q&A
When do we find out how much the baby weighs?
Of course, everyone in the family wants to know the length and weight of the baby. Weighing and measuring the baby takes place soon after birth, but can easily be postponed until after the parents have had a chance to hold and feed the baby. Measurements include the length from head to heel, as well as the circumference of the head, chest and abdomen.
