Remember, there are many other ingredients to think about in addition to specific color. You might want to decide if you want the nursery to be strong, vibrant colors or soft pastels. Next you might want to decide if you want it to speak to just the infancy period or if you want it to be something that could serve your baby from infancy until school age. You could also think about the differences between tailored and frilly. Also think of furniture - are you attracted to light or dark furniture and are you contemporary or traditional in your taste?
Another way of approaching decoration of the nursery is to determine a theme. A theme can be based on anything you want it to be. You might be attracted to a current or past nursery theme, children's book or movie, or a particular toy. Or you might develop your own theme using a lamp, accessory, fabric, wallpaper or any other item that attracts you.
If you can begin to answer some of these other questions, you might find that you are led to the specific color scheme that is right for you. Have fun and good luck in creating your baby's SPECIAL SPACE.
