Expert Q&A
Can I use an electric blanket during early pregnancy?
A recent study found the use an electic blanket at the time of conception or in early pregnancy increased the chance of miscarriage significantly. Poor fetal outcomes have been implicated when the pregnant woman's core body temperature has been raised above normal, especially in the first trimester."
