Expert Q&A
Question:
Are hot tubs off-limits to pregnant women?
Answer:
Hot tubs are only safe to use during pregnancy when the temperature is set at 100 degrees and below, especially during the first trimester. Most hot tubs are set between 110 to 120 degrees, which is too high for pregnant women. If you can't control the water temperature or aren't certain how hot it is, don't use one.

I also suggest that after getting out of chlorinated water, rinse off thoroughly and apply a moisturizer to prevent dryness or itchiness. (Stay clear of products with added perfumes or dyes.)
