Expert Q&A
I'm currently in my third trimester and not due until September. That means a long, hot, miserable next couple of months. Being equipped with only a glass of water and a fan I'm finding it impossible to be comfortable sitting still! To deliberately work up a sweat sounds like torture! Sadly, an air conditioner or nice cool gym are out of my budget, but I don't want to watch my already buxom thighs get thicker all summer! What do you suggest for those sticky days I spend hiding in the shade of my living room?
Since the only way to burn significant calories is to increase your body temperature, without an air conditioned space, there's not much you can do besides get up very early and take a walk outside when it's cooler. To make up for lost sleep you can take a nap in the hot hours of the day, feeling relieved that you already did your exercise while the rest of the neighborhood was sleeping!
