Expert Q&A
Question:
Should I take a class with my baby?
Answer:

If you feel comfortable getting out of the house with your baby and want to connect with other families to share ideas about parenting, then you are probably ready to attend a "class." Newborns thrive on being talked to and gently massaged which many of these classes do. Also, as babies begin to sit up and look out at the world, their receptive language (what they understand before they speak) will blossom as they listen to songs, stories and music with the encouragement of their parents or caregivers, not to mention how excited and happy they become with this kind of interaction.
