It is always best if you can sleep on your side, preferably the left, to keep the big vessels that run along your spine from getting compressed by the weight of your uterus as the babies get bigger. Some women are just back sleepers and find it hard to sleep on their side. Using pillows to prop you into a semi-side position can sometimes help. For nutrition, you need about 400 more calories daily and will likely need more iron, which you can get through a supplement or through iron rich foods, like red meats and green leafy vegetables.
